21st Century Learning

 Hello everyone!

Today, as a teacher candidate, I will give my opinions about 21st century learning. What is 21st century learning? What skills does it require? and what is its importance in language learning?

21st century learning is the social and technological skills that students must have in order not to fall behind in the developing world. This learning provides skills such as technological knowledge, creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration so that students can keep up with today's world. Students who acquire these skills will be more effective and successful in their social and business lives.

Another important issue in 21st century learning is language learning. Language learning is now important in almost every profession, and this raises the question of how language learning can and should be. As technology develops, language learning becomes easier. Thanks to technology, opportunities such as online tests, speaking practice, pronunciation improvement and taking online lessons from different teachers have arisen.

As a result, 21st century learning produces a student model who has social, technological knowledge and has acquired a language. Technology, which is intertwined with almost every field, also offers many opportunities in language learning. In my opinion, a student who wants to learn a foreign language should take advantage of technology.
