Instructional Technologies

 Hello everyone, in this post I would like to talk to you about the Instructional Technologies course we took this semester and express my opinions. The aim of this course is to provide technological skills to future teacher candidates. Technology has now become the center of everything all over the world. This course was very useful in keeping up with the times and providing our students with these skills. Since we are language teachers, we have become interested in integrating technology into language teaching. This course was a skill-based course rather than a memorization-based course. We did a lot of activities. Course grades were given according to the technological tasks we did throughout the semester. I discovered the blogger application thanks to this course and I will continue to use this application. Hello everyone after a short break. Today, I would like to talk about the artificial intelligence task given to us as homework in class and share my experiences. In the Informational Technologies course, we were given an assignment in which we would use AI. This assignment was to interview a historical figure. I used the magic school app for this. I chose to interview Fatih Sultan Mehmed. It felt great to interview the sultan, one of the greatest conquerors of Turkish history. The application is very useful and useful for students, especially for second language learners. It helps a lot in developing skills such as speaking. Online Colloborative Writing Task

  Hello everyone, Today I will tell you about my experience with an assignment given in the instructional technologies course. In this assignment, we created groups of 3 people and expressed our opinions about a movie we chose. We  chose the movie Mr. Nobody. The movie Mr. Nobody tells the life of the main character named Nemo. The film tells about the choices Nemo will make throughout his life and eight alternative storylines that will take place accordingly. We briefly stated what was talked about in this movie, the subject to be emphasized, and our opinions about the movie. We distributed tasks in this assignment. We exchanged ideas and wrote a joint article. The Google Docs application we used for this assignment was very useful for a collaborative task. Once we exchanged ideas remotely and created a document with access permission, everyone could write whatever they wanted. My Digital Story

 Hello everyone Today I will tell you about my experience of creating a digital story. I and my classmate Melike prepared the story. It's about a fictional story about Pluto. Pluto, which is not big enough, is no longer seen as a planet by people, and Pluto is very upset about this situation. One day, a scientist named Nova and his robot friend Atlas notice something is wrong while looking at the planets through a telescope. They see Pluto approaching the Earth. He understands that he wants Pluto to be considered a planet again. They are discussing this situation with other scientists. Pluto becomes a planet again. We prepared this digital story from the pixton application. In this application, you can easily prepare characters, backgrounds and create a story.  With the development of technology, almost every child now has access to a technological device.This easy access to technology by children of all ages creates some problems, such as impersonation, exclusion, threats.  A problem seen especially among young people today is presenting themselves as someone else on social platforms. People who spend a lot of time on social platforms develop a desire to emulate the lives of the people they see or follow and to be like them.    Another problem is that desire of people who aim to have friends in social environments and relieve loneliness may result in the opposite situation.
